In cooperation with the successful internet platform www.reggae.ch, DRS3 and Couleur 3 the first Swiss Reggae compilation will be published under Universal Music Switzerland!! Just in time for the summer beginning and the several festivals, a lot of them under the sign of Reggae - with a huge list of national artists - as f.ex. Open Season, Fusion Square Garden, Phenomden, Moonraisers, Ganglords, Famara and more!! This CD is a must for every Reggae fan, because it shows the unbelievable creativity and deversity of the helvetic Reggae - community and most of the tracks are exclusive and not available somewhere else!!

| The idea of unifying the Swiss Reggae scene was in mind since long time. After the live transmission of Swiss Reggae Unity at Couleur 3 on the 2nd october 2004, where several Reggae artists performed together, it was time for the realisation of a Reggae internet platform. Thanks to the partnership with Culture Wise and thu huge engagement of the Reggae.ch team and after never ending hours in the jungle of informatics and consuming cubic metres of coffee, Reggae.ch went online on the 15th march 2005 – with big success and more than 1000 visitors per day.
Reggae.ch’s aim is to get the reference website for helvetic Reggae, to promote Reggae in any way ond over the borders!
The first Swiss Reggae compilation “Reggae.ch Vol.1” shows the diversity, the crativity and the high level of Swiss Reggae and fills up each room with real Reggae feeling.
