"The Scorcher aka Ras Romano" is the former musical leader, Dj and Mc from the Reggae Sound "Zion Sounds International" from Bern city, Switzerland. Active in the bernese Reggae Scene since 2004, he has organized many “Dances” and was involved by bringing “David Rodigan” back to Bern for an exceptional show.
Addicted to Roots & Culture, Studio One and the 70ties Roots Reggae, "The Scorcher" is playing thru all the Jamaican musical legacy from Ska, Rocksteady to Early Reggae, Roots Reggae to Digital Reggae up to the New Roots & some well selected Dancehall, always aware of the positive vibes in the tunes........Collecting serious vinyl that is hard to find, the collection is filled up with rarely heard and sought after tunes from all era's....many "Scorchers" in the box!!! |
"The Scorcher aka Ras Romano" ist der frühere Dj und Mc des Reggae Sounds "Zion Sounds International" von Bern. Aktiv in der Berner Reggae Scene seit 2004, hat er viele Reggae-Party’s organisiert und war mitbeteiligt an dem Engagement des legendären Dj’s von London “David Rodigan“ in Bern im Oktober 2010.
"The Scorcher" ist ein Liebhaber von “Roots & Culture”, “Studio One” und dem 70ties Roots Reggae, doch er legt Platten auf die durch die ganze musikalische Geschichte der Jamaikanischen Musik führen. Von “Ska”, “Rocksteady” über “Early Reggae”, “Roots Reggae” zu “Digital Reggae” bis hin zum “New Roots Reggae” und wenigen gut erlesenen “Dancehall” Lieder, immer mit “Positive Vibes”.......Als Sammler seltener Stücke die schwer zu finden sind, ist die Sammlung gefüllt mit selten gehörten und begehrten Liedern aller Jahrgänge....many "Scorchers" in the box!!! |
