Dubversive Soundsystem started in 1996 as a dub soundsystem after ARON and MIKE met and realised that they have quite the same style of music interests.mixing heavyweight dubsounds with modern jamaican dancehall-reggae,DUBVERSIVE changed themself more and more into one of the most well known and booked dancehall-reggae sound around the german part of switzerland.DUBVERSIVE played in almost every club in and around zürich,they had their regular thuresday at ROHSTOFFLAGER and since 2k4 they are resident playing every monday at BESAME MUCHO.they played all over europe and did six tours across israel and there is more to come...
after winning the FIRST INT. ISRAELI SOUNDCLASH 2k5 against A-MAR SOUND,the major sound from tel aviv,playing at the Swiss Dancehall Clash 2k5 and the first ZÜRICH CLASH 2k6 they are known not only for their excellent juggling during their dances but also for a fully loaded clash sound.
at their regular dances DUBVERSIVE works together with wellknown soundsystems as well as upcomming young sounds giving them a chance to improve themselfs and showing their skills to a larger massive.
since may 2007 there has been two changes in personal wich is that DUBVERSIVE got themselfs a new selector named DRIVER J who was formaly a member of MAD AHORN sound.
the second new member is CHRIS SILENCE aka NOISEDEALER who is a producer,guitarist and a studiocrack since years.in this position he was teaching computermusic at the local jazzschool in zürich city.
he will be working at DUBVERSIVE STUDIO for dubsessions and also producing new riddims together with ARON.
and last but not least they run their own STUDIO called DUBSERVICE in which they record dubplates for many sounds with almost every artist passing by switzerland since about 2k2 and produced several riddims wich has been released on compilations in and out of switzerland. |
