And this what the world was waiting for: Max RubaDub steps inna di rmx-scene! And even if nowadays, the "scene" is filled with some loveless produced stuff, you can assure youself on this space that Max stands for high quality material. This youth can look back to some various musical activities, as he was for example DJ of the HipHop-Crew "Dopalicious" and singer of the first Reggae Band ever in his Hometown Olten (Switzerland), the legendary "Woodleys". Right now he's selector of the well known "Riot Soundsystem" and singer of the Dancehall-Crew "Tribe Vibez". He's got his own studio called "SoundMax-Studio" in Olten, where he worked with many well known artists from all over the world. And now he just discovered his latest passion, the rmx-thing. As he's a real music-fanatic, he's mixing all kind of stuff, from Reggae, Dancehall, HipHop to Jungle and D'nB! So watch out when Max come with a new thing round de corner, it could be the next shureshot yuh know!
BIO:
Max RubaDub discovered his passion for music as a young teenager. As a trumpeter he was part of the „Jugendmusik“ for many years, until he got into the culture of hip hop at the age of 15. As founder of Dropalicious he took his first steps as DJ FreakB in 2001 and spread his name in the local scene. Two years later he joined the upcoming Riot Soundsystem. With Django, Collie Herb and Maximum Philipp he played at several parties touring Switzerland. Beside this, he was producer and MC oft he Dancehall-Duo Tribe Vibez as well as playing the trumpet and singing with the Reggaeband „The Woodleys“.
In those days he founded the SoundMax-Studio. Together with the drummer of „The Woodleys“ he shared and realized his dream of an own recording-studio. Since 2003 this project is rising and growing. Meanwhile, Max recorded, produced and mixed several CD’s, for example Cookie-The-Herbalist’s Debut-Album „Like A Tree“ which was released in Summer 2010 or several mixtapes with his longtime MC Collie Herb.
As a member of the Riot Soundsystem he traveled through Switzerland and also played abroad, severing the party people with good music. Now he’s mixing reggae and dancehall with hip hop and his DJ-sets are also influenced by electronic sound like ragga jungle, electro or dubstep.
Nowadays, he plays as a Solo-DJ or shares the Stage with Singers like Elijah, Collie Herb, Cookie-The-Herbalist, Knackeboul or Uwe Kaa. Always motivated to reach the maximum out of the sound and to serve the crowd with positive vibes. With his passion for self-produced remixes, which gain respect over the whole reggae-world and to cross borders, he has an unique style in the local party scene. |
