The Swiss group Herbalist Crew released their new album, Vert Guérilla! After Herbalizm and the title "C'est Nous", the new album announced a major artistic turning point in their musical evolution.
From church choir as 6 year old Stefano Raschi to the today Cookie-The-Herbalist, Stand Tall is the second album but not it's 2nd release, since 2008 Cookie collaborate with various artists.
Since 1998 the Jah Equity Sound System is dedicated to spread and promote roots reggae and dub steppas. Different from other sounds in north switzerland, Jah Equity Sound System is using a powerful own set (sound system) in the traditional sound system style: various sound effect units are implemented, and the heavyweight bass is separated from the other sound by an active frequency splitter – this allows the unique live effecting with additional reverbs and echoes as well as the mixing of and playing with bass and trebles. This is particularly taking place when playing the instrumental and dub versions of a song, which is another trademark of the Jah Equity Sound System. The selections played in sessions range from 1970s JA roots reggae to UK dub steppas inna year 3000 style and own songs – but strictly heavyweight conscious tunes.
