Born in Kingston, Earl Daley became a performer early on in life. He made his professional debut at the age of just 16 (hence his stage name). Soon after, he went on to work with the big 1970s producers at Yard (King Tubby, Lee Scratch Perry Coxsonne...), and had a string of hits such as «Love is the feeling», «Holding back the years», «Purify», «Freedom Wave», «Malcom X» and «Africa». His career has been rich in collaborations, and he’s recently worked with Dreadzone, Mad Prof, Gussie P and Dub Versive. He’ll be following on with his latest album «Feel the Fire» in which we’ll also find jungle and drum n’bass. One to see, or see again! |
