Inna Crisis after their 1st album “The Time Is Now” (2005) have put a new touch on the Swiss Reggae scene, and have drawn much attention and praise from an ever growing international audience. Having already over 25.000 profile views on their www.myspace.com/innacrisis page where they have also sold CDs with orders coming as far away as Australia, Hawaii, USA,UK etc…….
A promising future thus for Inna Crisis which confirms its presence on the scene reggae while leaving a new album “what if” this November 2006
Since the group was founded in 2002, the group increased its performances on local festivals and gained them a high reputation as a powerful live act that lead them to be asked to be opening acts for famous artists like: Lee Scratch Perry Maka B and Groundation Inna Crisis won a battle of the bands competition and a place on world famous Montreux Jazz festival, on the “Reggae Boat Night” in 2005. Later in the same year the group we’re chosen to be on the compilation compiled by Reggae.ch produced by “Universal Music” along with 18 other Swiss artists.
This Swiss/UK reggae band influenced by its multi-cultural background bringing 7 motivated artists around the same passion: music and playing live. Switzerland’s own Reggae Band mixes Reggae melodies, soulful harmonies and jazz-inspired rhythms. Singer, Mark Kelly, a UK native has unleashed a one world-music that heals. His groove brings a resonating sound mixed with traditional roots reggae influenced by Swiss and British culture.
“What If” their 2nd album is taking the group in a new direction with front man Mark Kelly taking a bigger part in the writing and with that brings new influences. Bob Marley and Sting can be heard in the vocal approach as well as in the music with the “Stranglers” classic “Golden Brown” which can be felt in “Glass House” and “What If” this new direction they hope will not scare the fan base that they have already obtained.
“What If” was written and composed within 4 months of listenning through its twelve titles and two remixes without using the remote control. It was recorded by mark copa at “Alzac Studios”, mastered by the famous “Lion and Fox Studios” (USA). Remixes were carried out in collaboration with “the Neighbours” a collective of Monthey(CH).
In order to promote this new album Inna Crisis will be giving a showcase on October 2006 and will be hitting festivals in 2007 and all major clubs

Inna Crisis , best known for being involved in Swiss Reggae scene is proud to announce the launching of its first album The Time is now.
This Swiss reggae band influenced by its multi-cultural background bringing 8 motivated artists around the same passion: music and scene.
Switzerlands own Reggae Band mixes Reggae melodies, soulful harmonies and jazz-inspired rhythms.
Singer, Mark Kelly, a UK native has unleashed a one world-music that heals. His groove brings a resonating sound mixed with traditional roots reggae influenced by Swiss culture.
Created in 2002, Inna Crisis first started with instruments like Guitar, Bass & Battery. They improved their music by adding instruments like piano, saxophone, trumpet and vocals.
The band first started with local festivals that guided them to perform as opening acts for famous artists like: Lee Scratch Perry Pierpoljak and Groundation
Inna Crisis was picked out of eight bands in competition to play at the worlds known Montreux Jazz Reggae Boat Night in 2005. They also featured on the compilation reggae.ch produced by the famous label Universal regrouping 18 Swiss artists.
The 11-track CD The Time is now purred a musical transformation, bringing Jamaican dancehall reggae from a Switzerland phenomenon fully into the mainstream of Reggae music around Europe.

New Album "What if"
Inna Crisis après leur 1er album « The time is Now » sorti en 2005 ont mis leur identité et un nouveau marque sur la scène suisse de reggae, et ont dessiné beaucoup d'attention et de félicitation avec une assistance internationale toujours croissante. Ayant déjà plus de 26’000 visiteurs à leur page de www.myspace.com/innacrisis où ils ont également vendu des CD avec des ordres venant aussi lointains que l'Australie, Hawaï, les Etats-Unis, l’Angleterre etc...
Un futur ainsi prometteur pour Inna Crisis qui confirme sa présence sur la scène reggae tout en sortant un nouvel album « What if » ce novembre 2006.
Depuis sa formation en 2002, le groupe a multiplié ses apparitions sur les festivals locaux qui les ont guidés pour effectué des avant-premières pour les artistes célèbres comme : Lee Scratch Perry Maka B et Groundation Inna Crisis a été sélectionnée entre huit groupes en concurrence pour jouer au Montreux Jazz Festival « Reggae Boat » en 2005. On trouvera également le groupe suisse quelques mois plus tard que la compilation Reggae.ch produit par le fameux label « Universal Music » regroupant 18 artistes suisses.
Inna Crisis est un groupe de sept jeunes musiciens, qui ne cesse de progresser et de promener ses notes à travers la Suisse motivé autour de la même passion : musique et scène. Le propre du reggae d‘Inna Crisis est un mélange de mélodie reggae, d’harmonies émouvantes et de rythmes inspirés du jazz. Le chanteur, originaire d’Angleterre, fait raisonner sa voix en mélangeant le reggae roots à la culture suisse et british.
«What if » leur 2eme album amène le groupe dans une nouvelle direction avec comme leader Mark Kelly prenant une plus grande partie dans l'écriture et avec de nouvelles influences. Bob Marley et Sting peut être entendu dans l'approche vocale comme dans la musique avec les «Stranglers» classique «Golden Brown» qui peuvent être sentis dans «Glass House» et «What If» que ceci n’effrayé pas les fans qui connaissent déjà Inna Crisis.
« What if ? » a été écrit et composé en 4 mois, ses douze titres et deux remixes s’écoutent sans employer la télécommande. Cet album a été enregistré au bout du Lac Leman au «studios Alzac», masterisé par le célèbre «Lion & Fox Studio» (Etats-Unis). Les versions remixées ont été effectuées en collaboration avec «the Neighbours» un collectif de Monthey.
Afin de faire la promotion de cet nouvel d'album Inna Crisis effectue un vernissage en octobre 2006 et serra présent sur la scène est la scène des festival en 2007

Nous avons le plaisir de vous présenter le premier CD d’Inna Crisis « The Time is Now », dans les bacs depuis cet été. Après avoir conquis les salles de la région, les membres du groupe nous emmènent enfin dans nos propres salons les écouter.
Inna Crisis est un groupe de sept jeunes musiciens, qui ne cesse de progresser et de promener ses notes à travers la Suisse. La musique qu'ils composent est un reggae teinté de jazz et de soul. A la croisée des cultures donc, avec en plus un chanteur anglais qui fait adopter à toute la bande les sons groovy. Une hétérogénéité qui accouche ainsi avec bonheur des sonorités variées des claviers, saxophones, djembés, congas et guitares.
Inna Crisis, c’est avant tout la rencontre de plusieurs musiciens provenant d’horizons différents, mais tous animés par la même passion de la musique et de la scène. Après différents concerts dans les salles de la région et aux festivals régionaux, le groupe franchit un nouveau palier en assurant la première partie des concerts de Groundation et de Lee Scratch Perry puis en remportant sa place sur le Reggae Boat du Montreux Jazz Festival lors d’un concours organisé au Ned de Montreux. Challenge gagné, puisque le groupe fait également parti de la compilation Reggae.ch du Label Universal Music qui regroupe 18 groupes suisses.
« The Time is Now » nous emporte avec ferveur à travers 11 titres musicaux, sans oublier 3 versions DUB, Afin de promouvoir ce nouvel opus Inna Crisis a tourné tout l’été dans la salle suisse, les médias en ont parlé:
Red Air Festival, août 2005 :
« La qualité et la bonne humeur qui caractérisent le reggae aux résonances jazzy et funky distillé par Inna Crisis en font l’un des groupes les plus prometteurs de la scène musicale helvétique. »
L’Illustré, article du 18 mai 2005 :
… «Le genre de disque totalement inattendu qui redonne la pêche, la frite, le bon tempo. Encadré par une section de trois cuivres joyeusement trompétueux, ce mini big-band d’une dizaine de musiciens se balade sur des rythmes reggae fort joliment balancés. On songe à Jacob Miller (à la meilleure époque d’Inner Cicle et surtout en solo) et à Steel Pulse, registre funky et très urbain, morceaux lancinants et imparables par leur capacité à faire danser le corps et l’esprit. Enregistré comme à Kingston, évitant habilement les clichés qui enfument parfois le genre, hypnotique et bidouillé comme il sied à cette musique, ce disque ne souffre finalement que d’un seul manque, la reconnaissance du plus grand nombre... »
Inna Crisis retourne en studio afin de sortie un nouveau CD pour la fin de l'année, nous recherchons une maison de distribution ainsi qu'une agence de booking à l'étrangé afin de pouvoir organisé une tournée européenne.

The Time is Now
Mit Vergnügen präsentieren wir Ihnen die neue CD von Inna Crisis "The Time is Now", im Verkauf seit diesem Sommer. Nach erfolgreichen hiesigen Auftritten kann ihre Musik endlich auch bei uns zu Hause genossen werden.
Inna Crisis ist eine 7-köpfige Gruppe von jungen Musikern, die ihre Noten in der ganzen Schweiz erklingen lässt. Ihre Musik ist ein durch Jazz und Seoul getränkter Reggae: dieser Kultur-Austausch und der englische Sänger verleitet die ganze Gruppe zu "groovy" Sounds. Diese verschiedenen Kultur-Einflüsse führen zur Entfaltung inniger und variierter Klänge der Klaviaturen, Saxophons, Djembes, Congas und Guitarren.
Inna Crisis ist vor allem eine Begegnung mehrerer aus verschiedenen Ländern stammender Musiker, alle geprägt durch die gleiche Leidenschaft für Musik und Bühne. Nach mehreren Auftritten in hiesigen Sälen sowie an regionalen Festivals hat sich die Gruppe einer neuen Herausforderung gestellt: sie übernehmen den ersten Teil der "Groundation" und "Lee Scratch Perry" Konzerte und verteidigen weiterhin ihren Platz auf dem Reggae Boat des Jazz Festivals in Montreux, den sie bei einem im Ned organisierten Wettbewerb erworben hatten. Dieser Challenge ist gewonnen, da die Gruppe ebenfalls auf der Kompilation Reggae.ch des Label Universal Music zu finden ist, die 18 verschiedene Gruppen aus der ganzen Schweiz umfasst.
Das Album "The Time is Now" reisst uns mit 11 Titeln durch die Musikwelt. Nicht zu vergessen sind die 3 DUB-Versionnen. Um ihren neuen Opus aufs Beste zu fördern, ist Inna Crisis während dem ganzen Sommer auf Schweizer-Bühnen aufgetreten. Hier einige Auszüge aus den Medien:

« Eine ganz unerwartete CD mit viel Pep, Energie und gutem Tempo. Drei freudig trompetende Blech-Instrumente umrahmen diese mini Big-Band mit ihren zehn Musikern, die sich zu angenehm schwingenden Reggae Rythmen bewegen. Erinnerung an Jacob Miller (zur besten Zeit von Inner Cicle vor allem im Solo), an Steel Pulse mit ihrem funky und städtisch modernen Register: eine bewegende und ergreifende Musik, die Körper und Geist zum Tanz anregt. Nach dem Erfolg von "The Time is Now" kehrt Inna Crisis ins Studio zurück für die Aufnahme eines neuen Albums, das Ende 2006 auf den Markt kommen wird. Wir suchen ein Verteilungshaus für dieses neue CD um eine europäische Tournee organisieren zu können
