My Brother (Simon aka. Mr. Magnificent) and me (Thomas aka. Selecta MaaS), playing and buying since more than 7 Years jamaican Music: Rocksteady, Roots Reggae, Rub a Dub, Lovers, Reggae, Dancehall and Ragga (also selectet Soca, Reggaeton and Hip Hop Tunes). Many Years we made each thursday a radio show on Radio RaSa 107,2mghz, named Jamaican Roots. Later we decide us to play live in Clubs an after Concerts and made the Jamaican Roots Sound. Since then we played in many Clubs in Swizzerland: Tap Tab (SH), Kammgarn (SH), Rote Fabrik (ZH), Kanzlei (ZH), Longstreet Carneval (ZH), Salzhaus (ZH), Gaswerk (ZH), Kraftfeld (ZH), Albani (ZH), Remise (Wil), Drei Könige (GR), Kiff (AG), La Luna (TG), Kotrijk (Belgien)...
Together with many artists from switzerland, Germany and Jamaica: Real Rock Sound (SH), Boss Hi Fi (ZH), Silly Walks (DE), Asher Selector (GE), KOS Crew (ZH), Massiv Sound (BE), Dexter Campbell (Jam), Luciano (Jam), Scarra Mucci (Jam), Dr. Ring Ding (DE) usw.
Our philosophie it's to make the old and new music from jamaica come together.

Mr.Magnificent und Selecta MaaS, spielen und kaufen schon seit über 7 Jahre jamaicanische Musik: Rock Steady, Roots Reggae, Concious Reggae, Rub a Dub, Lovers, Dancehall, Ragga, und ausgewählte Soca, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop and Soul Tunes. Viele Jahre lang hosteten die zwei jeden Donnerstag eine Radio Show in Schaffhausen auf Radio RaSa 107.2mhz, „Jamaican Roots“ hiess das Ding. Später entschieden sie sich, ihre grosse Sammlung Vinyl auch an Partys und nach Konzerten zu drehen und gründeten Jamaican Roots Sound.
Ihre Phylosophie ist es, alte jamaicanische Musik, mit den angesagtesten Tunes der heutigen Zeit zu kombinieren. Come to a dance and enjoy!!!
