DJ Blacks is from Jamaica where music is omnipresent, especially Reggae and Dancehall. Riddims are buzzing in every house, every bar, on the white beaches and even in the streets. In his youth he was inspired by his older brother, who was active with the sound system “Culture Vibes” in Switzerland, to spin records himself. He got known quickly in his neighborhood for his unique way to get people hot and dancing in the dancehall. Not at last because of his intoxicating vibes. At the age of 21 he also moved to Switzerland. But even the cold weather couldn‘t stop DJ Blacks to play his hot tracks. He‘s been building his DJ and his sound system’s name in numerous Clubs in Zurich since. Within just one year he was invited to play in swiss locations DJ Blacks lives for his music. It constantly drives him to new creative ideas. It is this passion for these stirring rhythms and his dynamic, personality and energy that makes people dance and gives them a whole new dance hall experience. A innovative DJ for an innovative party. |

DJ Blacks stammt aus Jamaika wo Musik allgegenwärtig ist, insbesondere Reggae und Dancehall. Die Riddims pulsieren in jedem Haus, jeder Bar, an den weissen Sandstränden und auch die Gassen werden von musikalischem Lifestyle durchströmt. Schon in jungen Jahren liess er sich von seinem älteren Bruder, der in der Schweiz mit dem Soundsystem Culture Vibes aktiv war, zum Plattenauflegen inspirieren. In seiner Neighborhood war er innert kurzer Zeit bekannt als einer der es verstand die Menge zum kochen zu bringen, dies nicht zuletzt durch seinen mitreissenden Vibes. Als 21 Jährigen zog es ihn vor 2 1/2 Jahren ins Ausland. Auch die kühle Schweiz stoppte DJ Blacks nicht seine heissen Tracks zu spielen. Bereits seit einem Jahr ist er nun dabei sich in der Zürcher Reggae Szene seinen DJ- und Sound System Namen aufzubauen. Dies mit beachtlichem Erfolg der ihm schon zu Auftritten in diversen CH-Locations verhalf. DJ Blacks lebt für die Musik. Sie leitet ihn und treibt ihn immer wieder zu kreativen neuen Ideen an, die er umsetzt. Genau diese Leidenschaft zu mitreissenden Rhytmen und seine Dynamik, Persönlichkeit und Energie bringen die Partygänger zum dancen, erwecken den Club zum leben. Ein innovativer DJ für innovative Parties. |
